DEMIKAL PLUS
The DEMIKAL® PLUS filters ensure a filtration grade of 0.5 microns, thanks to the combined action of:
• a double-sided polyethylene fiber membrane, equipped with a special drain, which ensures excellent mechanical filtration. This guarantees the retention of impurities and suspended substances;
• powdered activated carbon, derived from coconut, effectively removes chlorine and its derivatives, and reduces metals and toxic organic compounds;
• weak cationic resin, which, through ion exchange, ensures excellent chemical action capable of providing water with low fixed residue.
The DEMIKAL® PLUS filters are used in the treatment of water intended for professional cooking systems or home appliances, vending machines, coffee machines, and in all cases where a reduction of calcium and magnesium carbonates is desired.
GRANULAR ACTIVATED CARBON physically obtained from coconut shells and subsequently impregnated with silver salts. It is particularly suitable for the treatment of drinking water, where it is necessary to remove chlorine and its derivatives, micropollutants (such as trialometans), pesticides, as well as improving taste and smell.
BUFFERED WEAK CATIONIC RESIN specific for the temporary hardness of water, treats calcium and magnesium carbonates. This type of resin is designed to exchange cations in solution, effectively reducing the concentration of these minerals and thus helping to prevent the formation of limestone deposits.
